    Stacey Friends is an Associate at Roberto, Israel, & Weiner, P.C. Her practice is focused on trademark and copyright law, licensing, corporate and business matters, arts and entertainment. Before joining the firm, Stacey was an attorney at Peabody & Arnold LLP and was founder of Stacey Friends & Associates. While attending Suffolk Law School, she was the Note Editor for the Transnational Law Review.

Stacey is the current co-chair of the Art, Entertainment & Sports Law Committee of the Boston Bar Association. Stacey teaches “Legal Issues in the Music Industry” at the New England Institute of Art & Communications. She is a panel attorney for the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (VLA), and a member of the International Trademark Association, the Copyright Society, the ABA and NYSBA. Stacey also serves on the Board of Green Street Studios, a Cambridge dance organization. Stacey was formerly an early childhood educator with almost ten years of experience as a teacher and administrator.
